Glamour World Park Gate is a master piece designed by Godwin Eriabie of Goddello Arts Gallery Limited, Benin City; for Glamour World Park, Ososo. The Gate is a historical monument of Ososo People, the Nigerian Nation and the World in general. Historically, Ososo is made up of four quarters and in order of seniority namely: Anne, Egbetua, Okhe and Ikpena. These four quarters known as Unukhu made up Ososo Clan that metamorphosed into Ososo town. The four pillars on which the four men stands represent the copious granite rocks in Ososo. The statue on the far left of the gate represent Ọrẹkpẹ – the man that led Anni People to where they now settle, known as Anni quarter. On the immediate left is Ọkara, he led Egbetua People to the former old Egbetua on the eastern axis of Ososo town. However, in the last quarter of the twentieth century, the People relocated to the plain still in the eastern axis of Ososo and about a kilometer and half from the old Egbetua. The new settlement is now known as New Egbetua. On the right is Ogbodo – he led Okhe People to her present settlement, sandwich between Ikpena and the new extension known as Iyola. The last but not the least is Ogiamẹ. He led Ikpena People to their present settlement in the northwestern axis of Ososo town. The four men representing Ososo shoulder Glamour World Park. Again the four men represent the founding fathers of Nigerian Nation: Nnamdi Azikiwe in the East and South-East; Ọbafẹmi Awolọwọ in the West and South-West; Ahmadu Bello and Abubakar Tafawa Balewa in the North and Middle Belt. These four men fought for the sovereignty of Nigerian Nation. The four statues yet again, represent the four pillars upon which the world is anchor, namely: East, West, North and South. The effigies at the top of the gate represent Ososo cultural heritage and the culture of some other tribes in Nigeria. The globe at the top represent the world while the birds at the top of the globe represent tourists, going on holidays; crossing oceans and continents, visiting historical sites, monuments and cultivating friendship across the world. The four maidens hold up lights, inviting tourists to visit the park and savor the exquisiteness of Glamour World Park. Finally, the birds at the top of the globe represent doves and dove is the harbinger of peace and without peace in the world, there can never be an atmosphere for the tourism industry to strive. We add our voice to those eminent personalities that agitate for dialogue as alternative course of action for conflict resolution so that peace can truly unite the world into a global village for world tourism industry to strive.

The Theme Park now known as Glamour World Park, Ososo; was conceive by Mr. David Ogbemudia since 1988 and by divine ordination, we met in 2011. However, our inputs and cross fertilization of ideas expanded the project and galvanize it to a new city instead of just a theme park. When the city is fully completed, it will create over 5,000 jobs from project implementation to completion in addition to over 1,000 indirect jobs. The Park will generate annual revenue of well over Two Billion Naira [=N=2billion]. The Management of Glamour World Park will sign MoU with Operators of Chartered Helicopters in Nigeria to fly International as well as Local Tourists from any Airport in Nigeria to Glamour World Park Ososo. The Management has open liaison office in Benin and a temporary office in Ososo and arrangement are underway to open offices in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Kano where Contractors can submit tenders for various contracts. Glamour World Park will publish Monthly Newsletter and Subscribers can access it online. Glamour World Park, Ososo; is the biggest entertainment, relaxation, education, fortune and tourism project ever undertaken in Africa and we encourage all Nigerians to key into it because it is going to revolutionize the tourism industry, create jobs and also create ripple effect on the economy.
My name is David Ogbemudia, married with two children, Ese and Esosa. Ese is a young surgeon lady, practicing in the UK and Esosa is computer Science graduate. My wife kate, is a Manager at Pan Africa University Lagos. I graduated with Master of Science degree in tourism from Surrey University, U.K; in 1987. I have worked and lectured in various capacities both in government and in the private sector. To say that I am passionate in theme parks development in Nigeria, is to say the least. Statistics has shown that there are over 400 theme parks in the USA alone and over 300 in European Countries. These parks are standard and they are runs by individual families. These parks fashions the leisure behaviour of the larger society. As early as 1988, I had a vision of African version of Disney World, model after the famous America Walt Disney Wonderland. In view of this, I have worked tirelessly over the years for the actualization of the park. Nonetheless, the weeks rolled into months, the months into years, and now Glamour World Park is born in Ososo, Edo State. The location and site of the Glamour World Park was divinely chosent by God Almighty.
Although, the road thus far has been tough, but that did not deter nor frustrate the vision and the mission. Glamour World Park will epitomize domestic tourism in Nigeria, West Africa and indeed Africa. It will unite and promote good standard of living, create sustainable income to all stakeholders, generate employment and educate the youths. It will teach the youths, the principle of “play to learn” and the adult, “learn to play”. It will gradually change the mind sets of Nigerians and “evolve” a new society that will match the standard culture and civilization.
The best professionals known in the tourism sector worldwide has been contacted and are ready and willing to contribute their input to the “New Star on the Horizon” as referred to Glamour World Park by David Foast – the CEO of Dreamgate UK. As a Nigerian, this is a lagacy I wish to bequeath to my contemporary and posterity. Every Nigerian has a stake in this project because it is the biggest tourist city in Nigeria.
